Is It Possible to Fall In Love With Death?

No, I don't mean in a literal sense. That's pretty morbid. I'm referring to the story I'm writing, in which a young woman falls in love with Death.

Death is a handsome man who's been ushering the living to the other side for eternity and reuniting lost loves, but has never found love himself. Not until he's met Penny, that is, and she sees him as more than just a gateway into the other world. She sees him as a real person, one full of loneliness and misunderstanding, much like herself.

I'm excited to see how people react to this kind of love story. I don't think it's ever been done quite like this before. :)
